Well, I'm back today with our usual 5th of the month Diva Inspiration Hop from VERVE! I can't think of a better way to start off the new year with my first full post being exactly this! I hope all of ya'll had a wonderful holiday and that 2013 is off to a good start for you--I'm glad you're here. Have ya'll made any New Years Resolutions? Mine is to be more present here on my blog and on Splitcoast. We'll see how that goes. Ya'll will have to hold me accountable, ok? Email me if I start to fall off the radar!
Ok, it's been a couple minutes since I've been in a regular routine of crafting (also a New Years Resolution--it will help me stay saner--should that be my "word"?), so I took it easy on this card and went with a fun color scheme, a little Valentine's inspiration, and a clean design by using this week's Viva la Verve sketch. I used one of my oldest Verve sets, Wild Thing for the sentiment along with one of my newest, Borderline (which always reminds me of that Madonna song) to make the heart accents along the top. The hearts were cut out using the Wavy Hearts die set and the From the Heart die set.
Ok, well I'm off at Pine Cove this weekend at my annual scrapbooking retreat. I'll be back on Sunday evening (will someone please cook for me that night?) and will have something to share on Monday or Tuesday. Sound good?
Don't forget to leave comments on everyone's blogs for a chance to win some lovely Verve goodies! At the time of me writing this post up, I hadn't received the hop list, so your best bet is to head over to the Verve Blog or Betty's Blog for the full link list to see where to go next! Happy New Year!!
