It's Been Too Long...

Well, I've been gone again for a minute.  It got as crazy as Bon Qui Qui at King Burger around here.  Eric's dad went into the hospital with pneumonia and came out almost 3 weeks later with a newly quadruple bypassed heart!  My oldest daughter got fired from her job the same day as his surgery and decided to go into the Air Force two days later (she's working on that--gotta study up for the ASVAB). My dog-tired computer broke and we had to replace it, then my washer quit working and I found myself at the laundromat last weekend with my car whose inside lights had decided to stay on indefinitely.  Earlier this week, the glove box decided not to close either when I was looking for a scraper to get the out-of-the-blue-the-weather-has-been-a-roller-coaster-ride-here-in-north-Texas snow off my windshield (got mad and shut it really hard!).  Oh, and did I mention I've almost lost my voice?  Probably a good thing, and it's super sexy in the morning before I've had anything to drink.  Anyway, I've missed ya'll and I'm working on a couple of new things for my blog, so please hang in there with me!

As ya'll know, I work for THE BEST local scrapbook store in the DFW area (that would be Dallas-Fort Worth for ya'll who aren't from around these parts)--Scrapper's Boutique.  We've been carrying some really cute stamps from Little Miss Muffet StampsBarbara Sproat is the owner of the company, designs many of the stamps, and happens to be a local.  So when she brought this CA-UTE stamp into the store, I couldn't resist grabbing one up and using it for our Card of the Week (a $5 kit that is put out weekly).  The name of the stamp is Ice Cream Bench and you can find it HERE (unless you can get up to the store).  No, the sentiment is not included, that's a wood stamp my bestie, Jen gave to me and I will never part with it (by the way, she's revamping Sketch for You To Try so stay tuned!)!  I'd give ya'll the info on who it's from, but it's at the store right now, being used to make the kits.

Ok, well that's all for now.  I'll be back soon with somethin' or other.  There's a ton I haven't shown ya'll, but I only have some of my pictures right now, since I had to change computers (including some of my watermarks for my pictures)!  I hope ya'll get a chance to check out Little Miss Muffet!  Are they new to you?  Do you like?

SUSIE Q-TIP:  Are these getting old, or should I keep them up?  Let me know.  HMMMM....

  1. I love the q tips! Keep em up! Sounds like a wild winter ride - I don't know if I prefer inconvenient occasional snow and cold, or the constant frigid and white of my ND winter. :)
