Your Next Stamp--New Release Hop

Well, yesterday I got a little more time to stamp in between washing 3 loads of towels.  And that's a week's worth for us!  I think it was every towel we own.  That's what happens when you have a house full of girls!  One of the cards I made (YES, I made 2!--I'll post the other one tomorrow) was this cute little skating birthday card for our November New Release Hop for Your Next Stamp.

For my card, I used the new set, Joy with this cute skating girl, illustrated by Macy Wong.  Lindsie wants to go ice skating for her birthday, so I had her in mind as I was making it.  I borrowed the birthday sentiment from another new set, Sing Song Robin.  I thought it was just the right size for where I stamped it!

SUSIE Q-TIP:  Extend a mat layer from a main image panel to make room for a sentiment.  You can then use a die or border punch to make a decorative border along the bottom.
