Well, I took the week off from blogging this week to get a few things done, and start a little Christmas shopping already. I hate waiting until the last minute and it was a good time to get a few things I knew I was going to want to pick up out of the way before it was all gone and also took some time out to have lunch with each of them at school. The girls got out of school for Fall Break yesterday and will be home all next week, too, so I know we will be busy again! I do have lots of stamping to do and will be bringing ya'll some sneak peeks from The Cat's Pajamas for starters, so stay tuned!
For now, though, I've got another card I made using this month's Sketch For You To Try from Jen at iheart2stamp. Here's a look at the sketch again. (Sweet Stamp Shop is our sponsor this month. I thought I had another set to use, but I guess I don't, so I switched it up and used Verve this time.)
I thought it would be fun to use the "dream big" sentiment from the Words of Wisdom set, as a spin off from the "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas" line from the famous Christmas song. Can ya'll tell I'm ready to get in the spirit? I'm really excited for the holidays this year (even though, it's going to be tiny, since we only have a tiny bit of extra money and it will be all spent on our girls). It's going to be great and I can't wait to start decorating next weekend!
Anyway, I'll be talking to ya'll soon. In the meantime, make an SFYTT card and link it up to Jen's blog HERE! You'll be glad you did. Here's a few more SFYTT sisters who have some inspiration for you today as well:
Jodi Collins
Kerry Johnson

SUSIE Q-TIP: I like the look of a black and white stripe strip on some cards. A throw back from my days as a Mary Engelbreit fan, perhaps? Try it, especially on cards or projects that have black as an accent color. You'll be glad you did.
