SFYTT #3 for August
Well, it's been a long week getting the girls back in school. I've admittedly been doing my share of being a couch potato just a tad and then the last couple of days I've been going through my closet and putting a bunch of stuff on Freecycle. There's stuff in there that hasn't been touched since we moved in 13 years ago! So I apologize for the blogging break...but I NEEDED it!
Today I have another Sketch For You To Try sample using the August SKETCH. It's truly an easy one to work with and I've had fun making it different every time I've used it!
This time I used the Here's the Story a la mode stamp set from My Favorite Things and made this card as a sample for Scrapper's Boutique. Those a la modes are still some of my favorite stamps to play with!
Ok, I better git to gettin'! and see what else I can get rid of, including this layer of DUST in my bedroom!! I'll have another new post tomorrow with the NEW September SFYTT sketch! Don't forget to add your submission to Jen's blog HERE!
SUSIE Q-TIP: I'm loving the look of scrunched up flowers. For this card, I used the Perfect Petals Flower Die-namics and just ran water on them after I die cut them. Then I wadded them up and gently unfolded. I gave them a shot with my heat tool to "set" and dry them.
