SFYTT #2--Dream Big

Well, I haven't forgotten about ya'll. I've wanted to blog, but have been a busy little bee working on a custom scrapbook for a friend of mine. I WILL be showing it to ya'll soon--It's a baby boy album with a baseball theme--so CUTE (did ya'll even know I scrapbook too? I don't have a lot of time for it, but I still love it!)! But now I'm done and I switched my gears yesterday back to making cards and came up with this for my second sample for Jen's Sketch For You To Try.
Here's a second glance at the July sketch and as we mentioned before, our sponsor this month is My Favorite Things and I got to use all new stuff I ordered from them. (I have so much on my wish list in my head, it's not even funny!)

I love "typeset" looking fonts and when I saw this set, Big Greetings, I knew I had to have it (and now there's another one along those same lines called Complementary Greetings that I want too (on my wish list). I also bought some new die-namics dies and used them on my card--Mini Royal Roses and Leafy Flourish (which are soon to be my new favorites!). The Well Worn Greetings (labels dies) sit on top of the circle and are perfect for those sentiments (somehow I have the dies, but not the stamp set to go with it...I'll need to complete the pair (wish list!).

Anyway, you still have time to play along with us in Jen's Sketch For You To Try, so be sure and link up your project so we can see! You might be picked for the next Guest Designer of the month!

SUSIE Q-TIP: Make flower embellishments more sparkly and fun by adding Stickles to the top edges. There is no rhyme or reason on how to do this. Just slosh it on there. By the way, can ya'll see the "hidden Mickey" on my card?
