Well, today's the June Diva Inspiration Hop from Verve and several more of the Verve Divas have joined us this month. Yay! Wanna know why? Because they were just as excited as I am to share 2 NEW PLAIN JANES being released today! One of them is called "One Day at a Time" (which is in a similar font format as this one) and the one I used today which is called "Grace" (which I have needed a lot of here lately, and am so thankful that God gives it anew every day!).
If you're just joining me here, the Diva Inspiration Hop started over on Betty's blog HERE. I'm smack dab in the middle of the Hop list, so you'll miss a bunch if you don't start at the beginning!
As usual, I mixed and matched a little old with a little new VERVE! In fact I used several stamp sets to go along with the new Grace Plain Jane. I made some polkadot background paper using one of the first Verve sets I ever got once I joined the design team and it's still a fave--Petals and Stems. Then the flowers are all the same, but in different sizes from three other stamp sets: Fringe Flowers PJ, Hoppy Easter and Small Celebrations. That was a lot of cutting, but I love how they look all stacked up!
By the way, something kind of cool happened right after I was done making this card, and setting it up for the photo. I had already made a couple of mistakes in the making of it, and I was thinking about the meaning of the quote (and hoping ya'll would have grace with me for messing it up). I listen to Pandora with my headphones on A LOT while I'm making cards, and usually have it on my "Taylor Swift" channel. However, for some reason, last night they started playing piano solo hymns on that channel, starting with the first one I heard as I was photographing---Amazing Grace. How cool is that!?! Ok, Lord, I'm listening...
Here's the hop list in case you need it:

SUSIE Q-TIP: After covering flowers with Glossy Accents, do not stack them up and put them in your car on a HOT Texas day, even if they are "dry". They WILL stick together. They WILL mess up your coloring you worked on for hours. Don't ask me how I know this. I don't want to talk about it. Also don't ask me how I fixed them without redoing them. You don't want to know.
