TCP Tuesday 203--A Cinco de Mayo Invite

Well, I told ya'll I may be back today with another post, and likely another one either this afternoon, or in the morning! I've suddenly got lots to share! Let's start today with a little TCP Tuesday Challenge from The Cat's Pajamas.

Lori is our Hipster Hostess with the Mostess and has issued a lovely little Color Challenge: Tangerine, Lime Green and Sky Blue. Very Cinco de Mayo!

So when I was contemplating these colors and trying to come up with a plan, I mentioned it to my mom. She said those colors reminded her of Pina Coladas and Margaritas and that I should come up with some sort of party invitation! Um, Mom? Are you trying to tell me something? If you want a margarita (or a party for that matter), all you have to do is ask. Anyway, I instantly thought of those fun, tequila loving penguins from the Salud and Hola Tequila sets from The Cat's Pajamas. This little guy is actually the one from the Salud set, but the salt/lime, tequila and Cinco de Mayo sentiments are from the Hola Tequila set. I figured since it was an invite to come have some margaritas, all that someone would need to know, was "when" and "where", so I stamped those words with the Coolvetica Alphabet. 'Nuff said, right?

Ok, we loved this Color Challenge and we hope ya'll will too and play along with us. Check out how to do so and what you could be playing for over on Alma's blog HERE. Did someone say Cat Cash or Swanky Stamper of the Month--no, that's not the margaritas talking! It's for REAL!!

SUSIE Q-TIP: Tulle. It's hot right now. I picked up this sparkly green roll for $2.50 at Hobby Lobby. It comes on a roll that is 6" wide and about 10-25 yards on each, depending on the color, and there are LOTS of them! I figured the green would be great for spring and then later at Christmas. Or Tinkerbell. Or 80's Costumes.

P.S. I'm sorry for the crappy pictures. These are from my iPhone and then I put them through the Photoshop ringer. I hope to have a new camera by this afternoon to replace my broken one. We'll see.
