TCP Tuesday 200--It's a Giveaway!

Well, today I have a little TCP Tuesday love to show ya'll from The Cat's Pajamas. Leigh is our WONDERFUL sketch artist and she has another one this week for TCPTUES200.
Since hitting #200 with the TCP Tuesday Challenge, we thought it was time for a little celebration.
Here's the deal:

We have hit the mark for the 200th challenge that the Cat Pack has given to you! So we are celebrating in true Cat's Pajamas fashion, with a FREE Giveaway. That's right, I said FREE! Since our 200th TCP Challenge is a sketch challenge we are giving away a fancy Cat's Pajamas Sketch Book featuring virtually every sketch challenge in TCP history! It's a great reference to get those creative juices flowing. Page after Page of sketchy goodness! Just go to http://thecatspajamasrs.com/TCPTuesdaySketchbook.pdf and download your copy for FREE.

But wait, THERE'S MORE!!!...

Comment on any of The Cat Packers blog posts that features our 200th TCP Tuesday Sketch Challenge by Tuesday, March 13 and you could WIN our complete NEW release! The more times you comment, the better. ALMA will announce the winner on her blog on Wednesday, March 14.

Here's the sketch...

And here's my card:

I have to admit that I kind of threw up a little bit in my mouth when I saw this sketch that Leigh challenged us with.  Not that I didn't like the sketch, but I was just a tad scared of it with the 6 boxes on it.  I wasn't even sure how big or small to make the squares!  With the black matting, they are 1 5/8" square.  I even had to use a 12x12 sheet of white to start my card base from!  (Card size is 4 1/4" x 6".)

So even with my large card size adjustment, I had to "cheat" a little on the sketch and make my piece that was supposed to be in front going all the way across the bottom, go behind two of those squares.  Ya'll can still get the general idea, though, right?  I used 4 stamp sets on this puppy, too. (Much to Carole's dismay.  She cursed me while typing up the Cat's Meow newsletter {that I'm sure ya'll all read} because she had to list and link all those stamp sets!  If you're not getting that newsletter, sign up for it down at the bottom of the TCP homepage HERE.  She then went on to CHALLENGE ME to use even MORE stamp sets next time because she enjoyed looking them all up and linking them so much.  OooOOoohh!  SHOULD I?  Let's take a vote.)  I'll just list them in my supply list below for ya'll, k?

We truly want ya'll to play along...I can't wait to see what ya'll do with those 6 boxes!!
Here are the details for this challenge:

1. Each Tuesday we will give you a challenge.
2. You will have until the end of the month to complete the challenge.
3. Add your entry to the guestbook on Alma's Blog and/or upload to the SCS Gallery, using the keyword TCPTUES200 for this week's challenge.
4. TCP stamps are not required, but of course, highly encouraged. {Unless it is a challenge calling for a specific stamp.}
5. There will be one randomly chosen weekly winner, announced on Tuesdays.
6. There will be one winner, The Swanky Stamper, announced the 1st of each month. They will win several sets from an upcoming release and get to play along with us at our Pajama Party and Blog Hop.

SUSIE Q-TIP:  When coloring eyes on really anything, use a white gel pen to highlight them.  It can really make a difference and not make them look so flat.  You wouldn't want flat eyes, would you?

Paper:  White, Olive (AC), Black, Orange Zest (PTI), Dots and Stripes (Echo Park)

  27. flat eyes are creepy. owls have big peepers, it's only fair they get the white gel pen treatment.

and susan, i think you stumped me with this card. i didn't even recognize it as being one of the TCP sets I've seen before - with a little non-Halloween colors, he's very hip, all year round!
