TCP Tuesday 191--AND Sneaky Peek Day ONE!

Well, Happy New Year! This is my first post of many many more for 2012! I've been working to get organized, my calendar set, and trying to get ahead (for once) in my stamping. To start out this month, I think I have around 3-4 posts a week already scheduled to be delivered to your squarehead 'bout them apples? Today I've got a fun card pulling double duty--It's TCP Tuesday, but not only that, today starts a full week of SNEAKY PEEKS for the January release from The Cat's Pajamas! Let's get this boat afloat, shall we?

Jen is our Hostess with the Mostess and she's got a warm fuzzy Inspiration Challenge for ya'll this week:

Here's a fun close-up of my card. I used the set coming ya'll's way January 10th called "Gimme Some Sugar" which in fact, was also inspired by Jen!

Gimme Some Sugar has got all these cute little pieces that you can build up as much as you want for Sprinkle's little sweet stand. He's got the right idea to charge for that stuff! Here it is:

Did ya'll see I also tucked a new little border die in along the side of my card? It was actually a last minute add-on, but I really like it jutting out over there. The CutUps die is called Queen of Hearts and is SO PERFECT! Alma really created two border dies in one--you can use either side of the cut for two totally different looks!

You likey? Stay tuned, there's more where that came from! Head on over to Alma's Blog HERE for a link list of the other Cat Packers who have a little TCP Tuesday/Gimme Some Sugar SNEAKY PEEKS for ya'll! She also has all the info on how YOU can play along and win the fierce title of SWANKY STAMPER of the MONTH which gets you lots of TCP swag!

SUSIE Q-TIP: Apparently I had a lot of afterthoughts on this card. I mentioned the border die on the side above. Here's another one--the aqua colored heart. Totally the last thing I put on the card when I thought I was completely finished. How did I get it under the banner? Instead of trying to pry off what I had already glued down (said banner), I just cut the heart on the side and slipped it around and under what was already there. Then I made sure the part of the heart that was clipped was covered up by the banner before I glued it down. SNEAKY.
