January Diva Inspiration Hop From Verve

Well, here I am again today, popping in on the ol' bloggio! I TOLD ya'll I had a lot in store for the next few weeks! I usually look forward to the first of every month being a Diva Inspiration Hop from Verve, but this year, we are going to push it back a few days as everyone seems to get really busy on the first. So today, being the 5th, we have our January Diva Inspiration Hop. Did you miss me on the first? Ha. I just bet you did. Anyway, let's get this party train a movin'...

You should have come here from Sony's newly redecorated blog, Stampin' It Up in LA. Did you leave her some love? She's had a rough start to the new year, but it can only get better for her as she is graduating this year from a prestigious graphic art/film/animation school! (YAY!!) She's so talented! I'm sure you loved her creation for the hop today.

For my card, I used a couple of stamp sets that didn't get enough love from me when I first got them--Celebration of Thanks (from 2009!) and Sunny Days. I'm forever in need of Thank You cards and another resolution of mine this year is to be more diligent in making AND sending them! How about ya'll? I hope the person I send this one to likes it! I think it looks a little messy, but that was the point--kind of messy, scrappy! I used the latest Mojo Monday Sketch (MOJO222) for this too (If you haven't given a Mojo Monday sketch a try, I highly recommend them!). I love the I Heart U die and for this, I simply "repeat" stamped the word "thanks" on the white before die-cutting the letters and then mounted them onto the Rounded Rectangle die. Happy!

Ok, I'm the last one on the hop today, but if you missed anyone or just want to browse around at some of your favorites again, ya'll can visit the Verve Blog HERE for a full link-listing of designers who've created some extra special eye candy! Thanks for hopping along with us! I'll be back on Saturday with Jen's first Sketch for You To Try for 2012!
