I Muchly Love TCP Tuesday #185

Well, only 4 more days until pumpkin pie! I actually don't even like pumpkin pie, so for me--only 4 more days until something rich and chocolatey (I'm making dessert, but I haven't decided what my something rich and chocolatey is going to be. Any suggestions?). Yes, I'll still be taking a pumpkin pie, but it will be bought at Sam's. I made a ham this week for my family and it's almost gone. I think the best "leftover" day was toasted ham sandwiches with jalepenos on it! YUM!

Anyway, I have a little card here that I made for TCP Tuesday this week from The Cat's Pajamas. Leigh came up with a fun sketch involving a filmstrip of sorts. Here it is:

I took the sketch literally and made my own filmstrip using a square punch, paper pierced around the openings, and then glued another paper behind it. However, you don't necessarily have to have a filmstrip there, it could just be a strip of paper or some wide ribbon! I used the little sentiment from the Merry Wishes set. Worked great for this "love" card. The sentiment is stamped on the banner from the Easy Rosette CutUps die and I've embellished it with the hearts from the Hearts Trio CutUps and Sunflower Rosette CutUps dies. FUN!!

Well, sorry to make this short and sweet, but I have a wee bit of stamping to do today. Oh and then there's that never ending pile of laundry. And a meat loaf to be made. Can ya'll tell I'm hungry?

I KNOW ya'll want to play along in the TCPTUES185 Sketch Challenge, right? Get all the cool details and pertinent info over on Alma's blog HERE. You may just be the next Swanky Stamper of the Month!

: Don't forget that sometimes your patterned paper has embellishments to offer just by cutting them out--and it's cheap! I made this banner from a patterened paper that was printed with all kinds of banners on it. I just cut the little pieces and glued them to the back of my sentiment panel.
