TCP Tuesday 179, In It to WIN It, and a SNEAKY PEEK!

Sneaky Peek Week
Well, I'm back (again, can ya'll believe it?!) Today kicks off SNEAKY PEEK WEEK for The Cat's Pajamas, and I'm super excited about it--ya'll are going to LOVE these new toys! Seven new stamp sets and 4 new CutUps dies that are so FUN!

Along with today's sneaky peek, if ya'll didn't notice, it's Tuesday and time for another TCP Tuesday Challenge from The Cat's Pajamas! I'm ya'll's hostess this week and since this new set, ADMIT ONE, is our peek for today, I thought it would be fun to HYPE THE TYPE! Yes, the challenge for this week is to use those alphabet and sentiment stamps from The Cat's Pajamas in a unique way!

Like I mentioned, the Cat Pack is peeking this new "ticket-making" ensemble stamp set called ADMIT ONE. I'm telling ya'll--I had THE.MOST.FUN. stamping this ticket and card! Every one of the little elements on the ticket is a stamp. And even more fun? I used the new BIG TICKET CUTUPS die that coordinates with the set. I LOVE IT! I had seen *another stamp company* show how to make your own thick chipboard embellishments with dies, so I thought I'd give it a try for my ticket. I cut 3 tickets from blank chipboard (a little thicker than a cereal box--which is ideal--and they cut like buttah!). Then I glued them together with the actual ticket glued on top. Easy-peasy!

Ok, now for some business to take care of:
1. Find all the details on how to play along in this challenge on Alma's blog HERE or on our Splitcoast forum HERE.
2. All these new stamps and dies will be available after the Pajama Party (HERE) next Monday HERE.
3. READ on to see how YOU can be IN IT TO WIN IT!

In Alma's words from our IN IT TO WIN IT FORUM on Splitcoast:

"We are gearing up for our October Release! It's been awhile since our last release, and boy, is this release going to be a fun one.

With 7 New Stamp Sets and 4 New CutUps Dies, we'll be giving you a Sneaky Peek on THIS forum each day.

Want to win something?! All you have to do is comment on THIS here thread. It can be about anything. The tutorial, techniques you like to use, some you'd like to see, the weather. Anything you want.

Then each day during our Sneaky Peek Week, starting on Tuesday October 4, we'll randomly choose a winner from the comments on this thread. The winner will win the set that we are Sneaky Peeking that day.

And all you have to do to win is comment! The more comments the better. Easy Peasy. We'll announce the winner each day on the Sneaky Peek thread, and the winner has one week to PM me (Alma)."

Ready. Set. GO!!

SUSIE Q-TIP: As I was stamping this, it was super easy to line up everything (on the ticket and on the dotted patterned paper that I stamped) because I used a ledger paper and just followed the lines to get it all straight. You could also use grid paper or anything with lines on it.
A tip to the SUSIE Q-TIP: Luckily I cut the die out with the lines pretty straight. This is just the ticket.

  1. Did you get my last comment? I tried to post one, but then got a funny pop up from Blogger within your comment box. Weird!

    Anywhoodle, I LOVE this! You're a stamping/paper genius. Just sayin'. :)

  2. So very cute. Love the vintage look you have in this card, but still very upbeat. Just terrific.

  3. Gorgeous and fun Susie - I love the ribbon tied off at the ticket notch.

  4. I'm just going to tell you right now that I'll be copying this here ticket! I just love the endless variations and possibilities with this set, but I do have to say you've hit the nail on the ol' head here, Sus! Great idea to make it remove-able as an embellishment for a scrappy page!

  5. Susan this is just so fun and so cool looking! I love your mix of papers and all the fun stamps -an awesome look!!:)

  6. I adore this, Susan! Great vintage charm, and the combo of things you stamped on the ticket is FAB!

  7. Love the chipboard ticket--and all the stamped elements you fit on it!
