Well, I have some news. All those fabulous posts I was going to wow y'all with aren't going to be happening.

As I stated before, I was having a family emergency and was having to take care of my mom. Well, it turns out after a lot of other problems she was having, they had to admit her to the hospital. Test results show that she has had a stroke. Luckily we were here at the hospital when they think it occurred. ( I'm posting this from my iPhone--I hope it works!). It has mainly affected her left side but thankfully not her mental cognizance (she still has her sense of humor!) or her speech. Just wanted to let y'all know in case youre looking for me! I'll be back as soon as I can! All prayers, good wishes and happy thoughts are appreciated!

  3. Sending lots of love and healing hugs to you and especially your mum for a speedy recovery. A couple of people in my family have suffered strokes and have gone on to live for years after - I wish that that happens to your mum. I've followed your blog for a long time but this is the first time I've posted. Hugs, Marie xx

  4. Susie, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My MIL had a stroke and when my FIL found her, wedge was blue (so who know how long she lay there needing help). I am thankful that if she did have a stroke, that it was at the hospital so her chances for recovery will be very good (please don't take that the wrong way, I really wish she was't having problems at all). Please keep us posted.
