Verve Diva Inspirations Blog Hop

Well, it's time for our second EVER Verve Diva Inspirations Blog Hop! Although we girls on the Diva Inspiration Team like to surprise ya'll when we post our creations, on the first of every month, we are going to WOW ya'll with a "coordinated post" to each of our blogs, culminating into the Verve Diva Inspirations Blog Hop. Kapeesh? There's lots more info at the bottom of this post, and ya'll KNOW that if we're talking VERVE, there's PRIZES involved!

Not that the Viva la Verve and Mojo Monday sketches aren't some of the best out there to work with, this is a Skipping Stones Sketch (SSD65) and I used it because I thought it fit perfectly for the stamps and design I was going for. I pulled out some of my newer stamps this time, but still combined a couple of different sets--that's just how I like to roll. I hadn't had a chance to play with either one of them, so "they won". They are To the Moon and Love Notes from this past January's release. Lindsie, our fourth grader is taking her Reading TAKS test today and I think this will just have to be sitting on her desk in her room so she sees it when she wakes up for a little encouragement. She will love it!

Here's the lowdown on all the VERVE happenings going on RIGHT NOW:
You'll want to take a little peek at each of the fabulous blogs below for some Verve-alicious eye candy and you just might win some Vervey goodness of your very own! We've hidden a little mystery prize on one of today's hop spots, so be sure to leave a little comment love as you hop around. One lucky commenter on the mystery hop spot will win a $30 gift certificate to the Verve Store! The deadline for comment entries is Saturday, March 5.

1. Julee
2. Betty
3. Dawn
4. Jen d.
5. Jen T.
6. Michelle
7. Lynda
8. Shannan
9. Sony
10. ME! (I'm last on the hop today, so I hope ya'll had fun!)

But don't run off just yet:
And that's not all! We want to hop around to your creations, too! Please join us in our stress-free version of a Verve Fan Blog Hop! Just make a new card using at least one Verve stamp, post it online somewhere, and come back here and link up your creation using the linky widget at the bottom of THIS POST on the VERVE BLOG to be entered in a random drawing for a $50 gift certificate! But wait... we'll also be picking a random commenter from one of the Verve Fan hop entries and you'll have all weekend to comment on all the lovely Verve creations that get linked up for a chance to win a $30 gift certificate to Verve. We've got some new Verve coming later this month that's sure to put a spring in your step and a gift certificate just might come in handy! *wink*
So to recap, there are three prizes up for grabs...

Deadline: 11:59pm Mountain, March 5
Prize: $30 gift certificate to Verve

2. Participate in our Verve Fan Blog Hop, by creating and linking a new Verve creation.

Prize: $50 gift certificate to Verve

3. Be a lucky commenter on one of the Verve Fan Hop spots
Dealine: 11:59pm Mountain, March 6
Prize: $30 gift certificate to Verve

And since it's a new month, that means we've got a new Stamp of the Month to reveal. This month we're featuring Blessings, an elegant set of flourishes and Irish proverbs perfect for St. Patrick's Day, but also versatile enough to be used throughout the year! Blessings is 30% off during the month of March, while supplies last!

SUSIE Q-TIP: This card really doesn't have any distressed edges, paperwise, but I did sponge a few of the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink from Ranger just to make it a little grubby. To add just a touch more grubbiness, fray the ends of your ribbon on purpose and leave any twiney ends long. I like the grubby-chic look.

Stamps: Love Notes, To the Moon (Verve)
Paper: Dark Chocolate, Aqua Mist, Fine Linen (PTI), October Afternoon, Stella and Rose (My Mind's Eye)
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black (Tsukineko), Chocolate Chip (SU!), Antique Lined (Ranger)
Accessories: Classy Label A Cut Above Die (Verve), Pinking Border CutUps (The Cat's Pajamas), Sewing Machine/Thread, Fiskars Star Punch, Vintage Copper Brads, Buttons (PTI), Hemp Twine, Prismacolor Pencils, Ribbon (Pizzazz Aplenty), Jody Boosters
Finished Size: A2
