MFTWSC10--Wednesday Stamp Club

Well, it's Wednesday and time for this week's Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch Challenge #10from My Favorite Things. What a cool sketch this is, am I right? So many possibilities, but I decided to shake things up with it a little bit and make my main focus the little "embellishment" represented by a heart in the sketch. Remember, I'm a rule-breaker.

I have this seven year old Diva--I mean daughter--named Audrie (I don't know where she gets it). You may have seen that sweet little toothless face at the bottom of my post yesterday. She has been a Diva since she was born--Seriously! She's competitive to the point of wanting to take her lunch in kindergarten last year so she could be first in the line to the lunchroom at school. She is and I'm sure will continue to be a challenge, but a sweet one.

So tonight was one of those "Diva" nights where Audrie's world was a little off-kilter, to her anyway (insight into this follows below in my SUSIE Q-TIP). Ironically, it made me realize I hadn't gotten a chance to use my new Sassy & Sweet stamp set and just HAD to make this card a little more on the sassy side in reverence to her. Will I give it to her? I'll have to wait and see how Audrie the Diva is in the morning after her beauty sleep.

I love that this set coordinates with the cool new Sweet Stack Labels Die-namic and I added the fun Dainty Dots borders along with it.

*Seriously, as usual, Kim has a list of all the design team queens playing along in today's challenge HERE.

*And don't forget to check out the Sketch Challenge (MFTWSC10) over on our forum on Splitcoast HERE so you can get in on the action and play along.

SUSIE Q-TIP: Do not play the Wii with an egomaniacal 1st grader unless you are braced for any outcome. She will either beat the pants off you and feel great, rerunning every awesome point she scored and making you watch, or at the other end of the spectrum, scream into the pillows of your couch when she loses and you will have to take away the remote control and listen to her cry and be mad at herself for losing while she brushes her teeth on her way to bed. Whatever.
