Well, how fabulous is this March release from My Favorite Things, huh?!?! Welcome to the March Blog Hop and Shop. If you're just happening upon my blog, you'll need to start at the beginning over on KIM'S BLOG to take in all the lusciousness!

I've made my card using last month's Triple Scoop set, Clearly Sentimental About Parenting. It's got some GREAT sentiments in it and I just had to use this one from Chuck Swindoll. He's a wise man and I need all the wisdom I can get! It would be wise to add this one to your shopping cart.
I used one of the Wednesday Stamp Club sketches from a couple of weeks ago that I never got a chance to play with. It's perfect for sentiment only cards with that big ol' flag banner. I added all three butterflies from the new Butterflies Die-namics and bent up their wings just a bit for added dimension. Here's a look at this wonderful die:

Ok, well that's all from me tonight--it's been a long day and I'll probably fill ya'll in on our drama a little later in the week. Hop on over to BARBARA'S BLOG for a fantastic creation (all of her stuff is fantastic, am I right?). Be sure and leave comments along the way...you never know who's got some free stampiness to give away!
SUSIE Q-TIP: If at all possible, I try not to sew a stack of three pieces of cardstock/paper together with my sewing machine. Even though my machine is older, I still don't think I'd do it with a new machine either. Seems kind of rough on them and it slows mine down a bit. Here's the positive side to this quirk: by sewing only 2 layers together, when backed by that third layer, it gives it a little pop and dimension along the edges. It's a good thing.
Stamps: Clearly Sentimental About Parenting (My Favorite Things)
Paper: Hot Fudge, Orange Fizz (My Favorite Things), Vintage Cream (PTI), Honey Pie (Cosmo Cricket)
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black (Tsukineko)
Accessories: Butterflies Die-namics (My Favorite Things), Sewing Machine/Thread, Cream Loopy Ribbon (Pizzazz Aplenty), Pink Adhesive Rhinestone Line (Heide Swapp)
Finished Size: A2
