TCP Tuesday 140--You Had Me At Meow

Well, meow and welcome to the first TCP Tuesday Challenge of the year from The Cat's Pajamas! Toni is our Hipster Hostess with the Mostess this week and she has a fun and cute inspiration challenge to get our swank on with.

She's provided us with this cute little girls' knitted hat to draw inspiration from. She found the picture at Little Mismatched. I love the colors, and they even have gloves and scarves to match on the website. (No, I'm not paid to say that, but if they find out I did try to help promote their site, I'll just ask for a free hat--no joke. I love it that much.)

So when I saw the little toboggan (we don't got no sleds in Texas, ya'll [can I sic myself?]), I knew I had this cute black dotted paper that would fit the bill perfectly for the challenge. And HEY, why not go ahead and use another new set soon to be released to give ya'll a little taste of what's coming just around the corner from The Cat's Pajamas? IT'S SPRINKLE IN ALL HER GLORY!

Yep, this is a new Sprinkle the cat set called It Had To Be Mew. She's making her 2011 debut in a Valentine's set this year that's WAY fun and has a bunch of swanky sentiments that ya'll are going to flip for that are in true Cat's Pajamas style! I love the little banner I added down underneath the kitty. And see those cute tiny hearts on the banner? It's a stamp that has all those hearts in a vertical line. It was my daughter, Audrie's (7) idea to stamp them that way. She's pretty smart! (She's actually being tested this week for our school's gifted and talented program--I'm so proud, I just had to work that in here!)

Ok, we'd love for ya'll to play along in this week's challenge. That hat is so stinkin' cute, how can you NOT? Toni's got all the details worked out over on her blog (and Alma will have a linky widget posted on her blog soon), so git to gittin' with your smitten kitten!

SUSIE Q-TIP: I wanted to cut those little flowers on the banner to match Sprinkle's hat, but was too lazy to try and find the perfect paper that matched for such a small piece. So I just took some white, and colored a "patch" of it with the same Copic marker I used on the hat before I die cut the flowers. Sneaky.
