MFT Blog Hop and Shop Time!

Well, it's been a busy day here in Lilesland crammed with kids, kids and more kids hanging around, so I'm going to get right to the matter at hand before I start babbling, tattle-taling, and whining about being hungry. Ya'll are probably here for the December Release Hop and Shop for My Favorite Things (because it's fabulous). What did YOU order? Anyway, the hop started over on Kim's Blog and if you've been hopping already, you must have made your way here from Jackie's blog. She's helping us out this month and her creation was awesome, don't ya'll think?

Today I'm featuring the newest Die-namic Duo, Flower Silhouettes Die & Stamp Set . That's right, it's a SET--the stamps AND the Die-namics die of the flower. So cool. The pink flowers here are actually stamped with a solid image of the flower and then another stamp for the detailing (a two-stepper). I stamped it and then used the Die-namics die, but I'm sure you could do it the other way, too. I did the aqua flower just by cutting the flower die and then just stamping one of the sentiments from the set over it repeatedly (thanks to Betsy Veldman for that idea. She always inspires me!).

Here's what the Flower Silhouette Die from the Die-namic Duo set looks like:

Here are the two other Die-namics used on my card. I also used just the die from the other new Die-namic Duo set called Textile Rectangle and Stamp set along with a previously released die, the Little Open Scallop Strip.

Well, that's all from me...thanks for allowing me a little adult conversation! Next on the hop is another MFT faithful friend who's lending her creativity to us this month--Joy Stagg (who is super sweet!). Thanks to ALL the helpers this month!

SUSIE Q-TIP: Make the banner sentiment by stamping it and cutting it out as a strip of cardstock, leaving quite a bit on each end. Then score along each side of the sentiment and then again about a quarter inch outside of that. Accordian fold it and snip the ends to form the "V".
