A {Coming Soon} Sketch For You To Try

Well, I've had a rough week to say the least (I'll have to bring ya'll up to speed a bit later--I'm still working on the right words in my head). But when I started working on my Sketch For You To Try card for today, I thought I was being all cool and getting a little bit ahead of the game and making it work for a couple of challenges at once. Well, actually I was getting my cart before the horse. I realized mid-card-making-process that I was a week early for the other challenge. Being that it was 10:30 or so last night when this light bulb went off, I was way too tired to start all over. So I'll be saving that card for the other challenge and hopefully can make my SFYTT card tomorrow as we have tons going on today (soccer, a pet fair, a birthday party and then I'm hostessing the crop at Scrapper's Boutique tonight).

I didn't want to leave ya'll completely high and dry, so I thought I'd at least post a couple of cards that I did a little while back for My Favorite Things. The first one is a little Flapper Doodle called All Dolled Up and the next one (I love the colors!) is a Jolinne stamp set called Friends Forever. I used the new Perfect Petal Trio Die-namics die on both of them. I think that is becoming my favorite flower die, and I tend to gravitate to it every time I need an embellishment now! If you don't own a flower die already, I highly recommend it!

SUSIE Q-TIP: Don't eat yellow snow. (Can you tell? I got nothin'.)

Here's what my SFYTT sisters have come up with using this sketch. Be sure and link your card (because I KNOW you are going to play along) to Jen's blog so you can be considered for her monthly Guest Designer spot!

  4. Sweet, Sus! You really did a great job with the Flapperdoodles -- I still have yet to get mine inky. Love the colors on your Jolinne, too (I'm a pink 'n' green old school preppy, of course). I hope everything's okay. You're making me worry... :/
