A {Donuts=Happy} Sketch For You To Try

Well, I don(ut) know about ya'll, but I love donuts (and unfortunately it shows). Plain glazed are my very favorite. Zapped in the microwave for about 12 seconds to make them nice and warm and gooey-sweet is the best! So when I heard from Jen that this week's Sketch For You To Try was being sponsored by Skipping Stones Designs (a sweet stamp company), I knew I HAD to have this donut set called Birthday Donuts. I love this sentiment I used on my card today! It's so funny to me--I love that about Skipping Stones--the stamps reflect my sense of humor! I guess most people have their "favorite" donut store to go to and so do we. I love the little "GOT DONUT" (with no question mark) shop around the corner. The lady in there is so nice and always gives us extras (like I need them), so I'm sure I'll be making her a donut card too, thanking her for my donut larvae induced figure.

So guess what? Because the nice folks at Skipping Stones Designs are so sugary-sweet (hi Heather!), Jen gets to give some of their fun stamps away! There are 2 unreleased SSD sets being given away. Here's a super sneak peek at one of the cute sets!

One PARTICIPANT (meaning, you'll need to make a card using this week's Sketch For You To Try--any stamps are ok) will win both sets and must enter by linking their creation to the Inlinks section on Jen's SFYTT post by noon on Friday, June 18th. The winner will be announced on next Saturday's post over on Jen's blog.

Be sure to skip on over to see what my other SFYTT (your favorite keyword when uploading to online galleries) sisters have come up with! I wonder if they like donuts as much as I do? After you check out all the inspiration, feel free to pick me up a dozen glazed donuts and swing on by my house and we will have a sugar-fest! Ever make a card (or two) while riding on a sugar high? I wouldn't know how that feels. No, not me. Never. Teehee.

SUSIE Q-TIP: When stamping an image that you know you want to use Crystal Effects or Ranger Glossy Accents on (or heck, anything that needs drying time) and you are really tired and need to get to bed early after making your card and blogging it late at night, be sure to make that step number one. Otherwise, you will be up for a prolonged period of time unecessarily. However, during that time you will remember that you need to do some laundry in order to have something to wear the next day. Don't ask me how I know this. I don't want to talk about it. I think I may need some donuts this morning.

Stamps: Birthday Donuts (Skipping Stones Designs)
Paper: Orange Zest, Aqua Mist, White (PTI), Misc. DP
Ink: Walnut Stain (Ranger), Pumpkin Pie (SU!)
Accessories: Scalloped Rectangle Nestabilities, Swiss Dots Embossing Folder, Cuttlebug, Buttons and Ribbon (PTI), Glossy Accents (Ranger), Copic Markers, Glue Dots, Jody Boosters
Finished Size: A2
