M.I.A.
Well, I've been a little (ok, a lot) Missing in Action for the last week or so. I just wanted to come over here and tell ya'll that I haven't forgotten about the ol' blog. Eric went to the hospital for his routine chemo (high-dose Methotrexate) last Wednesday and was supposed to come home last Friday. Due to a few minor setbacks, he's still there. We are hopihg he will get to come home on Thursday or Friday (tomorrow or the next day). I've been dividing my time between staying up at the hospital some nights and coming back to stay with the girls on others. He's doing fine, so no need to worry, just keep praying and sending good thoughts and well wishes! I'll be back soon with a card or two!

ReplyDeleteHugs and Happier Days!

Thinking of you and your family often. Glad to hear that he is in treatment and hopefully the setbacks will not effect his future progress or prognosis. I check the blog daily for creations, or inspirations and if there is nothing new, I take a moment to say a prayer for you all with your challenges these days.
ReplyDeleteI also wanted to mention that I did a diaper cake for a friend of mine a year ago for a baby shower and she just called me today, she had a friend of hers ask if I could do something similar in a Hawaiian theme for a bridal shower! I will have to put my mind to work and think hard on that one, but I thank you for the original instructions and I made sure to give you credit for every compliment I received at the shower. You are known here in Colorado now for the diaper cake. I forgot where you got it from, but since you took so much time to do the tutorials, I am most thankful to you and have made certain that people know it! Hugs, and prayers, to you all!
