A {Polar Love} Sketch For You To Try

Well, Happy Halloween! It's Saturday and time for Jen's Sketch For You To Try! My card today has nothing to do with Halloween. I'm officially launching into the Holiday season with this one! This card is a little sneak peek of a new set called Polar Love coming from My Favorite Things. It will be available on November 4th--that's THIS week!

I have to admit that this card is a very "loose" interpretation of Jen's sketch. You see, I made it about a week and a half ago and by total coincidence it happens to "almost" fit the sketch, so I decided to go with it! I tried my hand at flocking (again) and must say it's the best I've done with the flocking. I tell ya, that stuff makes me sneeze! How do ya'll like Mr. Polar Bear's little patch of hairy chest? I thought it was kind of funny after the fact. He's manly.

SUSIE Q-TIP: I like to "outline" the inside of my image before flocking. This way, you have a little leeway as to where the flock stuff goes and it won't go outside the image line. Kind of like "the shoulder" of a road. It's a little extra "road" before going into the ditch.
