TCPTUES70--Let's Eat Cake

Well, it's already August, it's already Tuesday and it's already my turn at being the TCP Tuesday Hostess With The Mostess again. If ya'll aren't familiar with TCPTUES, it's a little challenge that The Cat's Pajamas design team puts on each week to help inspire ya'll to get out your TCP stamps and play with us. Just to keep it stirred up, it alternates between a sketch, an inspiration, a color and a stamp challenge each week. Since I'm a princess, I get to issue the stamp challenge once a month, so what I say goes! Haha! Just kidding, but not really.

Here's what I decided to do for this month: My BFF Jen is having a birthday in a little over a week, so I was thinking we could all EAT CAKE!! I'm challenging ya'll to use any TCP stamps that involve some sort of cake....cupcakes, Sprinkle with cake, Poochie with cake, the Penguins with cake, just a cake, chocolate cake, pound cake, cake with chocolate covered strawberries on top, cake-balls, coca-cola cake, cake with cream cheese frosting, bundt cake...oh, sorry, I got a little carried away (but doesn't a nice Lemon cake sound good? I always want those in the summer for some reason). Hopefully you get the idea! Since there's lots of TCP stamps that you can use for this challenge, I hope a whole "bundt-load" of ya'll will get to play!

Here's all the details and what could actually happen to YOU if you choose to accept this challenge:
1. Each a week one of The Cat’s Pajamas DT members will host a challenge.
2. The challenges will vary {stamp, color, theme, sketch, etc.}
3. You will have until {this} Saturday night at 12 midnight EST to complete the challenge.
4. Link your project on this week’s hostess’ challenge announcement. This week you will link your project to THIS POST by midnight Saturday, August 8th.
5. TCP stamps are not required, but of course, highly encouraged. {Unless it is a challenge calling for a specific stamp}
6. There will be one winner each month. They will be deemed that month’s Swankiest Stamper and get $25 in Cat’s Cash {money to spend on the TCP site!}.
7. When uploading to SCS, please use the keyword TCPTUES70 for this challenge.
8. Alma will post the entries from the week the following Monday on her blog.
9. The newly crowned Swanky Stamper will be announced on the First of the Month and have his/her winning entry posted on The Cat’s Pajamas website where he/she will reign for the entire month!
10. HAVE FUN!!!

OH and a big congrats to Alice who is August's Swanky Stamper of the month! Check out this card HERE!

SUSIE Q-TIP: When you hear the ice cream truck coming down the street, go ahead and run out there and get one. It's like being a kid again. However, I highly recommend wearing flip flops or shoes when it's 100+ degrees. The heat from the road tends to flow up through your body and melts the ice cream you just overpaid the nice man for, I'm sure of it. Don't ask me how I know this. I'm too hot to talk about it.

Stamps: You Say It's Your Birthday, Happy Camper (The Cat's Pajamas)
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie (SU!), Rasberry Fizz, White (PTI), Sunshine Lollipop (Sassafras Lass)
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black (Tsukineko)
Accessories: Labels One Nestabilities, Swiss Dots Embossing Folder, Cuttlebug, Circle Punch, Threading Water Border Punch (Fiskars), Corner Rounder, Copic Markers, Rasberry Fizz Stitched Ribbon (PTI), Buttons (TCP), Glue Dots, Jody Boosters

    It has been hot here too. Heat zaps my creativity. But it rained today and after I danced in it, I made my card. Here it is:
