Viva La Verve!!

Well I had a chance to play yesterday afternoon while all was quiet on the western front. The girls were down at a friend's house playing, Eric and Shelbie were out running errands and I was home...all alone. (Poor pitiful me.) I decided to take a look at Amber's Viva La Verve Challenge over on the Verve Forum at Splitcoast. (Ya'll like the name I came up with for the challenges? Kind of catchy!) This one looked pretty daunting, but I was determined to "break it down". Anyway, there is always a "twist" to the sketches, like an extra requirement or omission and this time, you just have to use pink of some sort. So since pink is my favorite color, I HAD to play!! Now, I don't know why, but I seem to gravitate toward pink and black and this time was no different (roll eyes), but at least it's a guaranteed great combo, right?

SUSIE Q-TIP: Be sure and "double-stack" dimensionals when necessary to make up for extra height. Since the black panel on this card was adhered using dimensionals, then the sentiment was adhered to the black panel with more dimensionals, I had to "double-stack" a pair of dimensionals on the end hanging over the pink card base to make it even. Does that make sense?
