SUINKWWC15 ~ It's in the Bag!
**If you came here, following the BC Dzyns Blog Hop, just scroll down to the next post after you read this one and keep on hoppin' along!! You are almost at the end of your journey, grasshopper!**
Hello fellow blog-surfers and welcome to Whatcha Doin' Wednesday, sponsored by Storage Units, Ink and More! I'm your host, susiestampalot and today's featured challenge is to make a Gift Bag! Now, I know you don't have enough gift bags left over from last year, so why not make a few at virtually no cost to you! In honor of one of my best friends, Jen, I had no choice but to make a "genie bag", the title being appropriately named after her SCS name, genie1314. You can find her tutorial in the resources/projects section on SCS HERE. Super easy, just like making a card (and doing just a little something to the back) and sandwiching a regular ol' lunchbag in between! I modified mine just a bit to make a foldover flap, punched holes through all thicknesses with my Cropadilly and tied a ribbon through it. I hope you'll have a chance to play with us and make a gift bag for someone (me?..can you do it for me, please?). You know you need a few for this or that this Christmas season! Don't be too shy to upload them to SCS either. Make your presence known by using keyword SUINKWWC15. Now, Git to Gittin'!!!
Random thought: Why does the Oxyclean guy on the commercials feel like he has to YELL at us to get his point across. I can't stand him!
Susie Q-Tip: (Like my new catch phrase? Thank Jody for that one!) Try running your designer paper through a cuttlebug embossing folder for added texture and interest to your project. I'm wishing I had done it to the bottom panel of this bag front, but I already stuck it down before the genius struck me. I hate it when that happens.
