OOPS, I Did It Again!!

One of my favorite neighbors (probably because she has the cutest baby girl on the block!) needed a diaper cake for the baby shower she was throwing for one of her girlfriends, so I just had to help her out!! This is the third one I've made now and I really think this one "takes the cake"!! Just in case you are wondering....I did a couple of tutorials on how to make them HERE and HERE. I won't list supplies used as you will find mostly the same thing in the tutorials, just trading out different papers and embellishments. I also just glued chipboard letters to a wide grosgrain ribbon this time for the name banner, rather than hooking them together with jewelry rings. I'm so glad that many of you have benefited from my tutorials in the past and I only ask that you please credit my tutorial I worked hard on to put together and then send me a link if you choose to upload yours anywhere ! I'd love to see your version! In fact, I was recently mentioned HERE by Kerri at Naptime Notes (a great blog full of ideas, by the way and totally worth bookmarking--I did!). Thanks, Kerri and Lisa! :)

TIP: I used a smaller bottle of baby powder this time and it worked great! 6 oz. I believe.

  1. You are the QUEEN of these girl!! I love this, thanks for teaching me how to make them!!

  2. cute diaper cake...I may have to make a few for a couple girls who are pregnant. I can't wait and if I do...I will come back to check out your tutorial. TFS!

  3. I love the way the name cascades down the cake. So cute it almost makes me want to have another baby so you can make me a cake.....woooo, I didn't mean that. I was hypnotized by your cake :)hehehe

  4. Great job. These are so cute, I made one once, lot of work! Yours is just darling.

  5. OMG this is so cute. Thanks for sharing.

  6. You're good. I love how neat and uniformed you get the diapers to stack. I have never tried this out of fear but u inspired me. i'm gonna try it using your tutorial. wish me luck!
