A {Totally Witchin'} Sketch For You To Try

Hey, hey, it's another Saturday and time for another one of Jen's A Sketch For You To Try! I really loved working on this one (ahem) last night. I did it after we went on a haunted hayride that was going on in the city-owned soccer fields right behind our house. The girls decorated our chain-link fence earlier in the day with multiple bags of that spider web stuff, and they put a fake "Haunted Realty" for sale sign back there, too, that said our house was "repossessed"!!! Too funny! I'll try and take a picture to let ya'll see it! The hayride was fun, but really scared Audrie with all the ghosties, witches and goblins that ran up to and behind the hay trailer, making spooky sounds. The chain saw guy always gets to me. Makes me wonder how many times some punks somewhere thought they'd try it too, but forgot to take the bladed chain off. Sorry about that arm, dude!! THAT'S scary!! So when I sat down to make this, I was in a "witchin'" sort of mood and decided to make this fashionable, Window Shopping witch (from My Favorite Things) green with envy over some smokin' hot orange sparkly boots! The dress, of course, is paper pieced. I stamped and cut out the witch's hat and used the sentiment all from the Totally Witchin' Set, also from MFT. Anyway, I know the concept is a long-shot, but I think it's cute! We'd love for you to play along and use keyword SFYTT on Splitcoast so we can see what you've brewed up. Check out my "Ghoulfriends'" samples: Shannan, Amy S., Carole and Amy R., and Jen's Guest Designer, Nancy Riley too! Have a totally witchin' Saturday, ya'll!! We are off to shop for some costumes!

Speaking of Sales!!...

Today starts the Think Pink Sale at Verve Stamps! All stamps are 10% off, and in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Verve is donating 10% of all sales today through October 31 to the Susan G Komen for the Cure foundation.

TIP: Once again, I cut a sentiment apart from a clear stamp set to modify the placement of the words so that it would fit in a circle. I now have no qualms ever doing this. Face your fear! Cut them up and use them.

Stamps: Window Shopping, Totally Witchin' (My Favorite Things)
Paper: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Wild Wasabi (SU!), Papertrey White, Runway Dots (Heidi Swapp)
Ink: Nightfall (Storage Units, Ink and More)
Accessories: Scallop Circle and Scallop Rectangle Nestabilities, Cuttlebug, CM Circle Cutter, Orange Grosgrain Ribbon, Black Flower Brads, Copic Markers, Dimensionals, Stardust Stickles
