Whatchadoin' Wednesday

Hola!! Whatchadoin'? I have a Whatchadoin' Wednesday Challenge for you, hosted by Storage Units, Ink and More!
I missed last week's (to use sewing of any kind: real or faux) on account of all the falderall and foolishness going on around here. I was in a "hot mess" (I love Niecy Nash on Clean House--MMMM!!) Slowly but surely, I'm getting back on track here, though--mainly because I HAVE to!! The laundry and dishes can't seem to wash themselves. What up? So whatcha think about this card? Different, eh? The challenge this week is to use a minimum of 5 DIFFERENT images on one card! EEEK!!! Plus, Denise also issued this challenge to us DT members to see who could us the MOST stamps (all different images). You think 21 different images will be enough to win? Yep, count 'em! It was fun making this background, but then I didn't want to cut into it or cover it up, so it turned into the focal point of the card! I used every single sentiment stamp from The Witching Hour, Monster Party and Bump in the Night, from SUINK and More. I just started in one corner and just picked the stamps that would fit and the color of each image as I went along. I love it! I also managed to incorporate the "sewing factor" from last week's challenge into it, with the faux stitching around the edge and "sewing" the ribbon through a few punched holes. I just wish I had something to make a spider with out of clear acetate to add to the front. I gave up trying to think of a way to do that! Anyway, something a little different from me, but I like the end result--would make a cute Christmas card as well! Ok, well, as Niecy would say, 'Our work here is done--MMM!'!!

Wanna win some stamps from Storage Units, Ink and More? So here's the dealio with today's challenge:

Denise, over at SUINK and More is going to hold a CONTEST! This week's challenge is to use at least 5 stamps on your card, but the person who links a card here on THIS POST on the SUINK BLOG with the MOST images (all images MUST be different) on that card will win ALL 4 Oct. 1st release stamp sets--you will LOVE them! Sound like fun? We invite you to play along and you have from now until midnight on Saturday (9-20-08) to get your card all purrrtified and linked. If you are uploading to SCS, use keyword SUINKWWC6. As always, we'd love it if you used SUINK and More stamps, but if you don't have any (yet), any stamps will do! I can't wait to see whatcha come up with! It was a true challenge for me!!

TIP: Make background paper with all those smaller images from a set of stamps.
