Talk Vervy To Me!

I love the stamp that's included in the Asian Flair set by Verve that says, "just a note". Ever since I got the set, I knew I wanted to make a little pack of 4 of notecards. I decided to make a little skinny half box for them and put some matching envelopes in it for a little "gifty" thing to have on hand "just in case"! kwim? Also, since this is a clear stamp set, I was able to "bend" the sentiment around the circle. I love doing that!!!
I think this would make a great hostess, teacher, or just because gift for anyone and they came together so quickly! I don't really have a template for the box, in case you are wondering. I just measured my cards (4.25 x 5.5) and went from there. I was sure wishing I had one of those
fancy Scor-pals, though! Maybe for Eric's birthday coming up in October (I can't believe it's not really that far away!), that will be my gift. He always gets me something for HIS birthday and always has ever since we dated! He really is a wonderful hubby! (It helps that he knows I'm a princess.)! So if any of ya'll want to get me anything for YOUR birthday, feel free! I'll just get most of you the same thing I got you last year--a whole lot-a-nothin'!!! It always fits and is the perfect gift! HA!
Hey, and did ya'll know that Verve is now a Member Company over on SCS? Be sure and check out our forum! Just a heads up...each of the Verve Divas will be hosting a challenge each Thursday over the next few months.

Make sure you check in over at the SCS Verve forum for the first one....it just may be worth your while to play! HERE is the first one that started today, Thursday (or yesterday, if you are reading this tomorrow, or tomorrow if you are in a time machine).

I hope you get to play and come back when it's my turn to host it! What would you like me to challenge you with?

TIP: After adding brads to a project, tap them gently with a craft hammer on both sides to make them nice and flat against your cardstock. This will reduce bulk when gluing layers together.

Oh, and Wendy left me a comment on my last post, tagging me, but I have no way of linking to her where I was tagged, so tag---YOU'RE it!!
