My Favorites from My Favorite Things

Ok, I have to admit, these are just my favorites for NOW...My Favorite Things stamps in general just keep getting better and better (don't you think?), so I'm sure I'll have new favorites soon enough! So these are the rest of the cards I made for My Favorite Things July release, so if you haven't had a chance to check out the new stamps, run over there and take a look! The first one is a simple card with the new Flopsey line of bunny stamps called Pulling for You. Does this mean that bad friends aren't worth the effort? (A moral dilemma, but gets you to think, nonetheless. I am undergoing that in personal experience as we speak.)
The next one is my favorite and took a loooong time to make. I was going for a very rich and lush feel, and sure enough, I feel like a lush now! HA!! I was very happy to find that the Pearlescent Watercolors (also available from MFT), if brushed on lightly in a sheer color actually lets the shading from the Prismacolor pencils show through. I loved the look of the "old world" tub!! Wouldn't a bathroom all in these colors and textures be so yummy?
I had been wanting to make a little phone/address book to write down all my "stamping friends" info in for a long time. Although this book does not have tabs to alphabetize those names, it was only a buck at Michael's, so I think "I will just have to deal" (like my 4 year old told me the other day when she was not getting exactly what she wanted the way she wanted it! Yep. She said that out loud! Wonder where she gets it?)!! Anyway, when I got my Call Me set from Kim, I knew it was about stinkin' time I got to that little project and what a more perfect stamp for it? I made it in MY favorite colors and with some paper I fell in love with a while back. The sentiment is from the Twisted Sentiments set. (See? Not all of them are so bad!) Wanna be added to my book?
Now this card reminded me of the song, 867-5309 eeyine!!! Now you, too, can have it stuck in your head all day!! As I was making this one, I wondered why there was a phone cord and old-timey phone, so I went with a 70's look with the bright colors and brown "shag" carpet--can't you picture it? Goes nicely with the orange and white chair and yellow-green walls! Don't knock it, it might be the style next week!
So that's all I've got for today. Sorry it was so long (and not so choppy this time!) Still have lots up my to ya'll soon!!!

TIP: Layer ribbons for a more rich, LUSH look.

Sorry if ya'll have seen these already...something new coming soon, I promise!
