Hit the Beach or Just Lay on a Towel

Just a short post today (well, maybe not, now that I look at it), popping in to say hi!! Thanks for all the comments on my card from Saturday. Ya'll know I wasn't thrilled with it to begin with, and then I came down with a full-fledged migraine (haven't had one in almost 2 years) that Vicadin didn't even touch, so it really made me feel good on Sunday to find all your sweet comments about it!! I am feeling a TON better--at least it didn't last for days on end like they used to! So I am a stamping fiend here lately, making up for lost time!! I have other cards to show ya'll that I did before this one, but I did this one just now and can't wait to share it! I hardly ever have the time to play in the challenges on SCS, and if I do, they are usually only the sketch and Featured Stamper (I'll "feature" that one soon!). But this week so far, I'm 3 for 3--FS, TLC77 and CC175. On top of all that, this card is my 2nd entry for the TLC77 (Got Grid?--I'll "get" it here for you soon, too!). How crazy is that? So enough about me and onto the card! Unfortunately, I still don't own a Scor-Pal (when will I "score" on that little number?), so I had to just use my scoring blade on my trimmer. Now I see why this isn't the best method for me--the lines don't score "big" enough (see how I justify having one?), so there wasn't much of a contrast until I went over the lines in the grooves with my Clear Spica Pen. That helped a little. The middle girl (MFT's Hit the Beach set) is popped up and her bikini is also sparkly! She has a little attitude with the bellybutton bling and her little drinkipoo is within reach (and oopsie, got a little green on her arm. I must have had my glasses on. I have to take them off to color.)!! So yes, just laying on a towel would be the thing for me, probably in the back yard while the girls play in the sprinkler tomorrow (Wednesday Water Day) since we won't be going anywhere for vacation this year on account of gas prices. I loved the wording in the Fan Club Gallery--a STAYCATION!! That would be us.

TIP: Scor-Pals are worth it.

The only thing that helps when I have a migraine is napping with my blinds closed and the door locked so the kidlets don't bother me.

My aunt used to have really bad migrains until she started taking vitamin B2. She hasn't had one in a couple of years. It might be worth a try.
