Anything BUT a Card smARTworks Challenge!

Well, it was my turn this week to host the Layout/Design Challenge for our smARTworks team (they call it a Tea Party, but I don't get it-ha!). So my challenge was to make anything BUT a card using your smARTworks stamps. I love this little bunny set and I just "happened" to have a few chocolates laying around, so I thought it would be fun to create a cute bag topper for this Easter candy. It's very simple to do--just make a main panel, affix it to a folded over "topper" and staple to the goodies. Covering the staples with ribbon or something also makes it look more "put together", in my opinion! How about that grass? Done with my Cutter Bee scissors, putting tiny little snips along an edge is super easy and very delicate looking.

Check out what the other design team members did:

I invite you to try a little easy project like this and send me a link to it! I'd love to see it! They'd make great teacher or friend little gifties!!

TIP: Give white bunnies, snowmen and clouds (or anything else white) a little light blue shading with a marker to give them a little dimension.

Stamps: Bunny Joy, Sentiment Set (both smARTworks)
Ink: Palette Noir, Creamy Caramel
Paper: Whisper White, Regal Rose, Certainly Celery, DP by Making Memories (?)
Other: Small Cello Bag, Regal Rose wide Grosgrain Ribbon, Stapler, Cutter Bee Scissors, Copic/Prismacolor Markers, Aquapainter

  1. This is sweet! (pun intended) And what's more, with Spring/Easter right arond the corner, very affordable and easily done. The grassy fringe is a very nice touch! I likey!
