One LAST Secret Revealed!

Hmmm....What could it be? Did I hear someone say BLOG CANDY???? Why, yes, yes I did! So let's do it!! In celebration of my last two posts containing my awesomely FUN news, I've decided to hand out a little prize. I will put a picture up tomorrow--you won't be disappointed--of the goodies! Here's what I would like to hear from you: What kind of gifts are you making for Christmas this year? Just leave your answer in the comments section of this post. My husband, Mr. Random himself will draw a name on Friday night at midnight and I will post the winner Saturday morning, the 17th. How's that sound? That's all I have for now, I've been working on some DT stuff that I can't reveal just yet!

  7. Congrats on all of your exciting news! One of the gifts I'm making for Christmas are nugget boxes decorated with nice holiday papers for my co-workers. We always draw names, but I also like to do a little something for each of them. Good luck on your new ventures!

  9. Well, I made coasters and I always give card sets. I have seen some great ideas lately on blogs so I may do something else too. I loved the coaster calander magnets someone posted.

    I am making CD Calendars this year - 12 of them. I thought I would make it easy and only use one stamp per month, but every stamp I have chosen involves coloring, so it's VERY time consuming! Good thing I enjoy coloring!

  15. I'll be making 3x3 boxed notes and altered notebooks for teachers and coworkers, photo envelopes for grandparents, and maybe some altered frames, too. I guess I should stop blurfing and get busy!

  17. You have a great blog! So far I've made a card tote with matching cards, post it note holders, large note pads with covers, nugget tins, gift tags, decorative pen to match the card tote and some small photo albums. I love making hand made gifts.

  19. 2007 is the year of the quilt for me... so I made my girls each a gorgeous matching quilt and quilted pillow case and also a matching miniature quilt to hang on the wall. I used all Heather Bailey Freshcut fabrics simply because they are purely scrumptious!

  23. I am making 3 - 6x6 albums for my mom/stepdad, dad/stepmom and MIL/FIL from our wedding pictures from Sept plus xmas cards, ornaments, 2 mini books with wedding pictures for grandparents and a few other things that I can't remember - I better get busy!

  24. for christmas this year my friend and i decided that we are going to make olive oil jars! we are filling them with diffent flavors like garlic, chiles, herbs, etc and then we are decorating them.

  28. I'm not sure quite how to package them yet, but I'm going to put together little bundles of spices that are grown here locally (cinnamon, cloves) and bottles of homemade vanilla. AND - I guess I have been just reading your feed for a while and not seen your new header? Sooooooooo cute!

  30. I have no idea what I'm making! LOL! If it's anything like last year, it will be something fabulous, simple and easy that I will be making on December 24. (I'm such a procrastinator!) I've got an idea for some coasters I bought a while ago, and I'll probably give some takeout boxes with baked goodies.

  36. I am decorating large round chalkboards with the chef, and making custom recipe cards for my children. (who live on their own) I saw the idea somewhere on SCS gallery, where some ladies had used a clipboard.

  42. Normally I make something for all of the nieces and my grandsons for my husband's family Christmas. This year I found out that at least 4 of the girls are into scrapbooking so will be buying scrapbook items for them. Still trying to come up with ideas for the other 7.

  44. Well to start off I'm costimzing some photo frames for my friends. Making note cards, four in a set also for my friends. I make my mom a jean bag and my sister is getting a home made jean rug. A lot of work at the sewing machine and scrap table for me.

    Saturday, oh my that's got to be a day to look forward to. Big party going on at this house that day.

I am making ornaments out of wooden ice cream spoons 30 of them, painting wooden snowman,santawhich you can hang from the wall( plus one of these has the word JOY hanging from it), I have 2 empty jars that saved and will be making snowmen from them, I have 2 paper mache snowmache to paint yet, I have a poinsettas to sew on a t-shirt also by hand.

Hmm...right now I am making favors for my Mom's Retirement party...well I'm typing this instead...so I will probably do a Christmas version unless I am completely done with them...AND I'm making, those Fridge Magnet Pads (Jr. Legal cut in half), Chocolate Bar Pull-ups and Binder Clip Place Cards...I also hope to make some Glass & Glitter Ornaments and display them in the paper boxes. And nugget tins if they ever get them in from back order (boy this turned into a long post).

  55. I'm making coaster tiles (done), calendars (half-done), tins of chocolate goodies, hot chocolate bags, acrylic photo albums. And, I like Jan Scholl's idea "large, handwritten cheques". That's never wrong, so say my kids.

  56. For some reason, every Thanksgiving, my family of 30 all come from Denver, Dallas, Lincoln, etc. and stay with us for 3 days. As a result, I go nuts cleaning my house, my folks' house, cooking PLUS my full time job. Although its not the holiday you asked about, its the holiday at hand, so what am I making?
    I'm making myself crazy!

I am making "Winter Survival Kits" in 1 gal. paint cans from HD. contains soup at hand (chicken of course), magicstretch gloves, 1 pair socks, lip balm, cough drops, hand sanitizer,tissues,and a little something extra depending on the person. Great for those last minute office gifts! Most items can be found at local dollar store. ma54k@comcast.net
