Have I ever told you how much I love the Papertrey line of stamps and that I am on pins and needles waiting for the new one to come out! That Nichole Heady is a genius! Not only is she a brilliant stamp designer and thinks of everything when doing so, but her ideas are knock your socks off kind of stuff! I still don't have the Little Lady set, but she will be mine soon, I hope! So meanwhile, I am still loving my Green Thumb set. This card originally started as an ATC idea I had. However, little sweet pea had other plans!! She wanted to grow up and be a big girl card!! I used Garden Green and Cameo Coral (I think, or it may have been Pretty in Pink). I used my 1/4" Karen Foster Snap Stamps (get 'em while you can) "unsnapped" to randomly stamp a, b, and c on the green and pink pieces. I also saw *somewhere* (can't remember whose blog it was) they used a heart punch to make the little corner thingy I did at the bottom. You just place the heart in the corner of the part you want the corner on (well that makes sense right?) and fold over the sides of the heart to the back. You do have to tack it down some way, hence the little flower brad (which I glued a punched pink "hole" onto), but it's a way cute idea!! I think I'd like to try this on some scrapbook pages, too! (I'm getting the "itch" to do some here lately--you know how it goes!) Anyway the ATC idea is still "in the womb" stage for the sweet pea, but I will post once it's born--let's just hope it's not nine months from now before I birth an idea! Stay tuned...I have gotten some great RAK's here lately, but my camera has been MIA. So has my teenager (at a friend's house) so I think they escaped together!!
