Have a Splendiferous Day!!

I finally got some (stay with me here, I am talking about stamps)! Well, only three. My mom placed an order through A Muse Art Stamps and asked me if I wanted to see if there was anything I could "use". Ha!! I checked the website and found some stuff I NEEDED! I finally got one of those skinny oval stamps, so that I could "ground" some of my images. Then I saw this cute little bear (Audrie found him actually and MADE me get him--she's 3). And what stamp collection would be complete without that cute sentiment--Have a Splendiferous Day!?!?! Too cute and very versatile. So with this card, I am trying to follow a "less is more" mantra that a lot of the A Muse stamps are famous for. However not quite hitting the mark as well as my very first stamping idol, Julie Ebersole--JulieHRR on Splitcoast (she is also an A Muse Designer)! I love the simplicity of it, but I am SO not used to open white space!! I am usually a "crammer"!!! All in all, being my first time to use their line of stamps, I loved the quickness of it and the colors I used (cool caribbean--can you tell it's a fave right now?--and pretty in pink). I highly recommend everyone at least trying it once--get used to that open white space, just for fun! It really gets you to thinking about balance in your cards, that's for sure! Next post coming up--a fab-o hardly imagined wonderful color combo you have to see to believe!!! Until next time---Have a Splendiferous Day!!!

  1. Love your blog! Thanks for leaving a nice note about my card today on SCS. If you would like to visit mine sometime, grab a cup of coffee and come on over! Mine is brand new too. SO brand new, my header isn't even finished being designed!

  2. Just found your blog! such a cutie pie card! I am the same way with "white" space. I tend to want to fill every corner!

  3. I *had* to buy the "Have a Splendiferous Day" stamp (bought off ebay), because my little brother actually says this ALL the time. I just found your blog and love what I'm seeing so far!

  4. This is Fabulous! Blank space is hard for me too...but I AM LOVING THIS!!!
