I LOVE this stamp!

I was at Michael's today (supposed to be Christmas shopping, but I had a coupon!) and just could not pass up this stamp. It kept calling my name! I don't even need a Christmas stamp, now that I have my 60 (I'm nuts) cards almost finished for this year! It's by Rubber Stampede and I could not wait to get home and try it and add Circle of Friendship with it! It's quite large, so this card is 5.5x7. The first BIG card I have done in a long long time! I don't even have an envelope this big! For me it's easier to just do the 5.5x4.25. Anyway, I was going to wait and upload it here after the batteries finished charging for my digital camera, but I like it so much that I went ahead and scanned it in. So, I will try and replace the picture later on, hopefully with better color! The ribbon is from some candle jars I bought at Walmart a while back for a birthday party (part of what sold me on the candles, of course!) Usually I'm not the nostalgic styled stamper, I like the fun, crisp brighter colors, nor am I a big "colorererer" so this was a bit of a challenge, but I really like how it turned out and am glad I got it. It's very heavy and thick with layers! Yummy!
So after a long day of shopping, I'm pooped! Was out from 12-7 pm and didn't feel very productive in my quest. Although I can't tell what I got here in blogland as my family may get a little nosy, suffice it to say, I still have quite a lot of shopping to do! Never made it out to Cabela's, but maybe tomorrow night! Onward and upward!!

It's all too lovely and perfect and I'm so jealous now!! We don't have a Michaels, and I'm seeing all these wonderful cards made with Michael's stamps :( But, It makes me happy to see them, even if it is online :) This card is absolutely TDF!!! :)hehe
